kintone was easy to deploy but split lead, site survey, quote, order, construction, and aftercare into separate apps—forcing constant navigation to see one project. Photo handling was weak, and per-seat pricing scaled linearly with headcount.
Approach
Designed a renovation-tuned data model threading every stage under one project, built on Lays-Lop in 3.5 months. kintone data migrated losslessly.
Implementation
Site survey photos can be captured and organized from the project detail view. The quote screen auto-calculates pricing from a parts master and surfaces similar past projects. A homeowner aftercare portal is included to retain maintenance work.
Results
Monthly cost halved versus kintone + plugins + seats. Quote prep time fell 65%, and faster turnaround lifted win rate by 8 points.
